  • It’s funny

    November 1st, 2016

It’s funny. When he thought he knew, nobody believed him. Now, when he thinks he knows nothing, the world follows him closely. When he wanted the world’s attention, nobody cared. Now, when he speaks nothing, people want to hear the signals. The journey was long; from knowledge to ignorance. The journey was satisfying; to know the self.

  • He lived poorly

    October 31st, 2016

He worked hard. He live modestly and saved for the rainy day. And he saved much. And the rainy day came. He had enough to pass through the phase. Yet, he was troubled. He became insecure for the future. What if tomorrow is worse than today? So he didn’t use his savings and kept it for the rainy day ahead. Though he was rich, he lived poorly all his life. And then he died. And he left all behind.

  • Observe yourself

    October 30th, 2016

Observe yourself. How you talk. How you listen. How you think. How you breathe. How you walk. How you eat. How you dress. Once you observe all this, you will know who you are. And once you know who you are you will end the fight with the world to claim your existence. The urge to win will be over. To need to prove will become meaningless. To ask or answer will become redundant. The world will exist inside you and there will be no need to find it outside.

  • A different language

    October 29th, 2016

They were sitting in the cafe. The one was sipping his black coffee while the other one was having his mocha. Friends since childhood, they were meeting after months. Grown into matured adults, one was an investment banker and the other was the lead guitarist in a band. ‘Let’s go’, one of them said. And they left. No one spoke for two hours they spent together. They did not find words to be a medium of communication. They spoke a different language.

  • I don’t fear the world

    October 28th, 2016

I don’t fear the world because I am good at fighting. Whether it is with my fists or with words. Whether it is with diplomacy or with power. I mostly get through. But there is someone I am unable to win. My conscience. I have tried all tactics I have known. I have used all my weapons but they failed to make any impact. I don’t understand how but it feels like I am losing the fight. I also don’t know why but this loss seems to be my biggest win.

  • Resistance & Surrender

    October 27th, 2016

Personal bias and conflict of interest influence most of our decisions in life. Many times, even though we see the obvious, we take the opposite stance simply to boost our ego and prove our knowledge. Resistance is not bad if the purpose is noble and in the interest of people at large but it should not become a norm to counter everything. Similarly, surrender must not be taken as weakness. If we know when to resist and when to surrender, we can impact the world and find peace at the same time.

  • The biggest truth

    October 26th, 2016

The biggest truth is disturbing for many. Truth, that we must leave one day. However, this itself can give meaning to life; to live fully and to contribute wholly. Fear of dying itself makes us half dead. We can reverse this fear by accepting it. Embracing death can be, infact, rewarding in many ways. It can infuse life in our everyday living. It can give a rich perspective to our thoughts. It can help us in finding our soul’s longing. It can truly make our living worthwhile without dying everyday.

  • The mountain top

    October 25th, 2016

He reached the mountain top. The view was breathtaking. He could play with the clouds and smell the fresh air. He could stretch his arms and embrace the nature. He was apprehensive before his journey. He thought life was good down there and nothing could be anything better. Now he was overwhelmed. He could see the people in the plains and thought; only if they could muster courage to embark on their journey, they would find the real treasure.

  • The ache in the heart

    October 24th, 2016

We must dream and we must live to fulfil our dream. In some cases, dreams may remain elusive even after pursuing it for life. Yet, it is worth going for it because in the end, the feeling of ‘I could have achieved my dream’ will make all our worldly possessions worthless. Don’t wait for the perfect and flawless dream. The cure for the ache in the heart is to walk on the path it wants to.

  • Don’t give up

    October 23rd, 2016

When nothing seems to go right, don’t give up. Tomorrow’s sunshine will take away the dark clouds you see today. Sometimes, wait is the only solution when you want to get the results fast. Even if the whole world plays against you, still you need to perform your best. Even if things are looking bleak, hope must never die.
