A lot can be achieved if we follow one rule; either we should support the other person or atleast don’t obstruct his path. It is not that difficult to do things on our own but much more challenging if someone gets in our way. Generally, we are obstructed by others and so many people are wired to obstruct others as revenge. A word of encouragement can change the world for someone. Pulling someone back can do the opposite.
Some people are intelligent but they keep company of those whose thinking is shallow. Overtime, such company will not allow you to grow and pull you back to their own level. It happens very slowly and you may not even notice it consciously. You become the company you keep. Keep a watch.
A lot of people show early signs of talent. They seem extraordinary. Yet, many of them taper off and go into oblivion without making a mark in life. Then there are those who start slow and the world doesn’t consider them worthy of meaningful achievement in life. Yet, many of them cruise past the road to success and create history. Time is a good leveller. Stay humble and stay focused as there are no set rules.
Everyone has problems. It’s not a big deal. Play it down. You consider them unique because you haven’t witnessed problems other people face. You have to handle them alone. You have to get out of it and become an example for others. The way you look at your problems decide their fate. If you become weak, your problems will look like mountains. If you have a strong resolve, they will break like a glass.
It hurts in the beginning. When you do what is right, you seem to progress slowly. The world seems to cruise by and you watch it looking like a stupid person to hold on to your beliefs of integrity and valuing human relationships. Let it be. Stay there. Hold your ground tight. There will come a time when they shall come back to where you are because that is the place which the world will be after, a few years from now.
As parents it is natural that we are concerned for our child. However, in the name of guidance we sometimes go too far to influence them to choose their future life as per our own expectations. We believe we know more than them but history proves that the future generation has always been smarter than the old one. It is important to teach them family values and universal principals but beyond that let them find their own path. As a parent, it will take a lot of courage to do this. As a kid, they expect this from you.
I don’t want to create an image about me in front of you. It gives me stress to maintain that image in the future. It creates an obstruction for me to change in the future. I want to experiment things; even if that changes your opinion about me. I want to live a free life. To explore myself and my life. I want to change my thoughts with time. I don’t want to be a slave of your expectations. I want to be a master of my own will.
Everything won’t always move in the right direction. It doesn’t mean we have to be upset or stressed all the time. The construct of life is such that with time most things fall in place. No body gets a perfect world. Little imperfections make life interesting and worthwhile. So, whenever things are not going well, think about the things that are going right. You will feel blessed.
It is good to support your view but it’s not a bad idea to give a patient hearing to the other persons view. It is good to walk your path but not a great idea to judge the other persons journey. It’s good to introspect your own motives but one should not involve in criticising the other person. It is good to be positive about your future but you should not be negative about someone else.
Travel as much as you can. It enhances your perspective and gives you the ability to see things differently. If money is an issue, cut some of your expenses and travel frugally. Earth is a tiny dot in the universe. Atleast, explore your own planet. There is beauty in abundance waiting for you to see. There is wisdom to be attained when you meet different people. There is a soul inside you which is longing to wander in search of peace.
