Decide what needs your attention and stick to it. Before you know, your life will change for better.

  • Don’t Compromise

    April 13th, 2018

I want to be rich but not at the cost of being time-poor. I want to win but not at the cost of defeating someone. I want to be successful but not at the cost of compromising my integrity. I want to have lot of friends but not at the cost of cutting family time. I want to laugh but not at the cost of giving tears into someone’s eyes.

  • Trust

    April 12th, 2018

Everything we do results in deposits and withdrawals in the context of trust. Whether it’s a personal relationship or professional dealings, our actions impact the future of such relationships. Good actions increase trust and vice versa. In the short term, sometimes the impact is not noticed but you must know that the account of trust is constantly being debited or credited. Sometimes, we come to know about it only when the balance hits zero or when we are greatly rewarded for our deeds. Also, the speed of deposit is generally slow whereas withdrawals happen fast. Make sure your trust account with others always has a high balance.

  • Live every day

    April 11th, 2018

They say I should live every day. And then they also say I should plan and work hard to secure my future. And then some say I should have a balance. It’s so complicated. Half of my life is over and I have still not made up my mind which advice to follow. I tried to take my own opinion. I couldn’t. All this confusion created by the outside world has impaired my ability to decide for myself. I feel fearful that whatever I will decide could be wrong. The surprising thing is; those who are advocating how to live have themselves not been able to follow it in their own lives.

  • The choice is yours

    April 10th, 2018

When you taste success you will have one more companion. Either humility or arrogance. The choice is yours. If you are not careful you may make the wrong choice. Almost everybody thinks they became more humble once they reached the top. It’s self assessment and it could be biased. Better leave it for others to examine and take honest feedback. Your success will definitely be appreciated by the world but it will be your humility which will be more admired.

There is a simple way to accomplish your passion, hobbies and life goals. Be insanely disciplined to use allocated time for the said purpose. Make it a ritual. Initially, you will have distractions. Don’t deviate. After a few weeks and months you will find it natural to pursue things which are important. It doesn’t take a life to do things you like. It just takes a few hours of discipline every day.

  • Turn now

    April 8th, 2018

Everyone can think clean. It’s our bias which blurs our thought and contaminates it. When we have a conflict of interest we unknowingly start taking the wrong side. We then try to prove our point and override our mind which continuously gives us signal that we are going in the wrong direction. It steals our freedom of clear thinking. Once we start doing this there is no coming back. It’s a one way street. With time it becomes our habit and we become an expert in it. Give it up. The only way to come back is to take a u turn. Don’t go any further. Turn now.

  • Everyone is struggling

    April 7th, 2018

Do you know anyone’s life which is perfect? May be not. Still, we look for perfection in our own lives. More than that, we want a perfect life for our near and dear ones. Nothing wrong in hoping for it but don’t be obsessive about it. Learn to accept things which are a little bit off the mark. There will be nothing left for a perfect man to learn and achieve and it will make life uninteresting. Everyone is struggling to improve or make life of our close ones more worthwhile and this struggle is good. Sometimes, such things bring us closer to each other. A little imperfection makes a perfect life.

  • Create new opportunities

    April 6th, 2018

In the short term things may not fall in place but in the long term they mostly do. They may not fit in the same way you want. They seldom do but they may also actually be a better fit. Infact, sometimes it’s good that things go a little wayward. It allows you to think differently and explore option. Moving beyond the status quo create new opportunities. Conversely, many a times when you are done looking at alternatives you will find that sticking to what you are doing makes more sense than trying something else.
