  • Follow every advice you receive

    September 5th, 2020

Having a teacher helps. Specially the one who is free from any expectations back from you. The most difficult part is to find such teacher. Once you have zeroed in on the person you consider could mentor you, do anything possible to convince him to take you as a student. Follow every advice you receive. Sometimes blindly. If you are unable to find your teacher, it simply means you are still not ready to become a student. Yes, you can do it all by yourself too. It’s just that a good teacher can cut the distance by half.

  • Starve it.

    September 4th, 2020
Fear is a bad thing. Mostly, it doesn’t end as one fears but the worry kills us.
We ourselves compound it multiple times by thinking more and more about it. Our actions are then influenced by our fears which further worsens the situation. We want a smooth ride but life is not meant to be that way. The only way to keep yourself on track is to kill the fear the moment it enters the mind. The longer the delay the more dangerous it shall become. Fear is nothing on its own. It feeds on human mind. Starve it.

  • it’s a mind game

    September 3rd, 2020

Solution is always a few steps ahead of the problem. One has to cover that distance. Mostly, it’s a mind game. So often, our first reaction to an unfavorable situation is aggression. It only agrevates the problem. A little pause works very well. An attitude of solving the issue rather than winning is what is required. Sometimes, your mellowed approach can be considered your weakness. It can stop you from making a wise judgement. A problem creator lives in guilt forever. A solver forgets it the next moment. Decide who you want to be.

  • goodness and suffering stay together

    September 2nd, 2020

Good people suffer more in their journey of life. Accept it and move ahead. They pay an extra price for their humility and empathy. People take them for granted. They are criticised more because they don’t believe in finding faults with other people. Their silence is taken as their weakness. Maybe, because they do not fight back they are attached even more. If you wonder what wrong you did, remember; goodness and suffering stay together. You can’t choose one.

  • The future could be rewarding

    September 1st, 2020

In the midst of our busy days we forget how fragile life is. It is a depreciating asset. Yet, we live as if it shall never end. Not that we need to worry about it all the time but it is good to consider how we wish to spend the rest of it. In fact, the limitation of days or years ahead could well be a motivating factor to find the purpose of our living. It is not required to fill our days with activities to make it worth it. Rather, anything which allows us to be in peace with self is worth much more. The future could be rewarding. Yet, the present is already priceless.

  • If freedom of time becomes a priority

    August 31st, 2020

Initially, we have so much time. We struggle to use it. With time, we get busy. So busy that we struggle to find time. Life becomes chaotic. We create a web of commitments around us. So many things demand our attention. Everyday we think about simplifying our lives. Instead of getting the desired result, free time becomes even more scarce. We get frustrated. It is not that we can’t find a solution. It is not a time problem. It’s a priority issue. If freedom of time becomes a priority, everything else will fall in place. Go for it.

  • Focus on doing your best

    August 30th, 2020

Before winning one needs to have a winning mindset. You can either prepare to win or crib about the circumstances. Also, it is not important to defeat someone while winning. Don’t focus on that. Focus on doing your best rather than becoming better than someone else. Be obsessed with yourself. To improve. To perform. To win. Imagine yourself on the podium, keep your head down and upgrade your skills. Celebrate your win. Conduct your affairs in such a way that people who compete with you are the first ones to clap for you.

  • humility is the most appreciated aspect of a leader

    August 29th, 2020

Leaders have a special way to handle appreciation. They pass the credit to someone else. And they are even more loved. History have seen many leaders. And they have different styles. Yet, humility is the most appreciated aspect of a leader because when you get power it is difficult to use it with humility. The combination is deadly. So, if you are on your way to inspire many; if you are aspiring to become a leader, learn to get your work done without much noise. Stay grounded.

  • attraction of public life is too powerful to resist

    August 28th, 2020

It is difficult to stay anonymous. We want to make an impact. We want the world to know us. Our usefulness. Our expertise. It gives such a high. We say we don’t compete but that’s all we do all the while. We work like hell. We ignore our health. We sometimes even compromise on our morals. All of this to get famous. To get respect. Is this the only way? Living a private life with time on our side is something which is undervalued but very effective. Yet, the attraction of public life is too powerful to resist. And for that, we keep on running and doing things we probably never wanted to. When will you stop?

  • Prepare well. Really well.

    August 27th, 2020

Prepare well. Too well. A lot of things you learn won’t be tested at all. Ever. Still, a few of the things that you know about will take you to the top. The problem is; you won’t know which of your skills will make a difference in your life. So, you have to know it all. The confidence of doing the homework well will help you cruise through the outer exam. The countless hours you spend in sharpening your saw won’t be left non-rewarded. Prepare well. Really well.
