  • Fulfil commitments & promises

    January 11th, 2019

We all have our weak moments. In those moments we get emotional and make certain commitments to ourselves and others. These are the promises we should live for. When the bad weather is over, we forget our resolve. When things are good again, we tend to become more practical and ignore our promises. But remember, we will again be clouded by tough times and emotions will take over. We will re-assess our priorities and regret not living them before. Tough times will pass but never let your deepest emotions be washed away in good times. Fulfil those commitments. Fulfil those promises. Because that’s the real you.

  • It’s time to fly high

    January 10th, 2019

It’s good to follow a few people who inspire you. It’s good to learn from them. However, the ultimate objective should be to follow yourself. Deep inside, you know everything. You just have to awaken the sleeping wisdom. All of us know the difference between right and wrong. We show ignorance only to suit ourselves. We know the path we need to travel. We close our eyes because we fear loneliness. We can do what inspire us in other people. We just can’t get rid of our vices. It’s time to follow self. It’s time to go deep. It’s time to fly high.

  • They think I am strong

    January 9th, 2019

They think I am strong. They are so wrong. I am fragile. I just pretend to be strong. When I was weak I wanted someone to hold me. I desperately needed someone to support me. No one did. They expressed their inability saying they too are weak. It was during those times I decided I will not depend on anyone. Rather, I would support those who are having a tough time, emotionally drained and broken. I forgot my own affairs. I gave an impression that I am strong enough to look after them. They started believing. My reputation changed. Sometimes, I feel I will fall but I hold on. Not because I have the strength but I don’t want to break their faith in me.

  • Every battle teaches us something

    January 8th, 2019

We all know that life is a mix and match of happiness and pain. We know, it’s never a one way journey and there will be ups and downs along the way. We should pray for a smooth ride but we must also be ready to fight the unfavourable circumstances and challenges that life throws at us. We may not save ourselves from every attack but that doesn’t mean we should give up the fight. Every battle teaches us something and prepares us for the one coming ahead. The harder we fight, the stronger we become.

  • Objective of life

    January 7th, 2019

I am living in extremes. Sometimes, I feel there is so much to do. There are days when I don’t even remember breathing. And then suddenly, I take a break for days at a stretch. The world seem to stop. Sometimes, the excitement of creating something doesn’t allow me to sleep. Yet, at times, I leave everything in between and go into deep solitude. I have cut down my wants and so my dependency on others has reduced. This allows me the freedom to choose how I spend my time. I have learned; sometimes, a life without objective is a worthwhile objective of life.

  • Let some weakness remain in life

    January 6th, 2019

It is not necessary to look for solution to all your weaknesses. Let some weakness remain in life. Some type of pain is good as it gives depth to your thinking. A bad experience may haunt you but it may also give you the wisdom to look at things differently. A relationship which did not blossom may become the reason to value other connections deeply. A breach of trust which you encountered with someone close may become the foundation of your everlasting integrity. A weakness may become your greatest strength. It’s a part of life. Let it be.

  • I am struggling

    January 5th, 2019

I know I don’t do certain things right. I know some of my choices are bad. I am not very proud of this. I even suffer because of all this. I have guilt about my actions too. I promise myself not to repeat such things. I am unable to hold my commitment. I fall again to the temptations, habit and addiction. I again feel bad, shameful and frustrated. I make promises and the cycle is repeated again. Yes, I am struggling but I can’t give up a few things. I wanted to be different but I could find no one who is perfect. And so, I decided to be, whoever I am.

  • Nothing else mattered more

    January 4th, 2019

His way to judge his life was different. The first principle he applied was not to compare himself with anyone else. It was tough but he eventually succeeded. He also reduced the weight of money in the assessment whether he was rich or not. Rather, his matrix of richness valued freedom of time highly. For him, being able to maintain integrity came before meteoric rise at work. Health and family were non negotiables and helping others took priority to everything else. He scored high in his own judgement. Nothing else mattered more.

  • Watch your response

    January 3rd, 2019

Watch your response to situations and circumstances around you. It will result in what you get or eventually become. If you shower love, people will love you back. If you show humility, you will become humble. If you show hatred, you will be despised. If you judge them, you will be equally scrutinized. If you forgive, you will be forgiven. If you smile with them, they will cry without you. If you protect them, they will have your back. So, never complain of what you become or what you get. You are choosing all of it yourself. Check your response.

  • Time is not an issue

    January 2nd, 2019

Time is not an issue. It’s all about setting the priority right. Time is never short. It is we who spend it at wrong places. Mostly, we underestimate the speed of time. It travels at a uniform speed but never stops. This makes it super fast. The key is to say no to most of the things in order to accomplish a few things which is of super importance to us. Our whole life passes in making this judgement of what is more important. Not doing anything is sometimes more useful than trying to do too many things. Being free is also a good use of time. Respect time and it shall reward you with the respect of the world.
