He reached far. People called it success. He was not sure. He paused and looked behind. He realised; he didn’t want to come here. He left his turn long back. The world is waiting at the next stop though his soul is left behind. He decided to go back. It will take a while to reach his real path. Only if he realised this before, he could have saved so much time. He understood; the journey is nothing without the soul.
Run for health, not money. Speak to learn, not teach. Look for happiness, not pain. Shower appreciation, not criticism. Acquire to give, not keep. Love to give, not ask. Live on hope, not pain.
Are you mad? If I stop running how will I prove that I am busy? If I don’t contradict you how I will I prove my intellect? If I don’t flaunt my money how will the world know that I am wealthy? If I don’t blame others how will I prove my innocence? It’s a real world. Keep your advice to yourself. Let me live my way.
You can’t eat junk and expect to be healthy. You can’t speak lie and expect others to tell you the truth. You can’t criticise people and expect others to appreciate you. You can’t be negative and expect positive results. You can’t think short term and expect long term growth.
He bears the pain. He doesn’t even talk about it. He knows; pain is not given by someone else. It’s self driven. He feels pain only by action of those he care about. He finds happiness in their company and so, he accepts his share of pain too. He has understood; running away from pain is not the solution. Embracing it will reduce the hurt and increase joy when received. He doesn’t know if this is right the way or not. He just lives it this way.
There is so much of clutter we have accumulated around us that it becomes difficult to get rid of them. Work, promises, daily routine and even many relationships. We get attached to them. Even when we try to ignore them, they keep attracting our attention and we give way. Bit by bit, day by day, it consumes a lot of time and energy and we are unable to focus on our long term objective and life’s purpose. It would require a lot of determination and discipline to cut them out. Remember, many small things don’t always add up to something big.
There is no end to begin. It is not necessary to continue doing what you have been doing all your life. If you are not liking it anymore, dump it and start something new. The world won’t come to an end when you do this. Mostly, you will live. It’s a matter of courage. When your passion and interest is aligned to what you do, results are also better. Take a pause. Take the plunge.
When your feelings overpower you, let it be. When you are hurt and want to cry, let it be. When you are upset and want to put your words on hold, let it be. When you are weak and vulnerable but unable to hide, let it be. When you are right but they think you were wrong, let it be. You don’t always have to win. Infact, sometimes when you lose, you win.
There is just one rule and that is “there are no rules”. You can do it your way. When you ask others, they will come up with ideas; not because they know but because you asked them and they have to tell you something. Yes, there are certain things which can help but there are always alternatives. We play with words to align success with key principles. You can safely ignore them and make your own rules, but then again; there are no rules.
