    December 16th, 2017

At times, life can be hard and stressful. Here is the recipe to refuel and stand on your feet again. Look at your kids while they are asleep. Watch your favorite movie again. Talk to your childhood friend. Read about Elon Musk. Think about the person you love most. Listen to Piano Concerto No.1. Sleep 20 hours a day a few times. Watch Messi dribble. Go for a holiday. You can’t help but be ready to roar again.

  • Make your choice

    December 15th, 2017

It’s time to eliminate the options in life. Make your choice now. Get rid of the safety net. You have taken enough time for preparation. It’s time for action. It’s time to go for the kill. To give your best shot to that one thing you always wanted to accomplish. Don’t think about what you could lose. Think about how it can open the window of new paradigms. Once you do it, it will open the gateway for millions of other people who are sitting on the fence to open their wings and fly.

  • Suspense of life.

    December 14th, 2017

No matter how hard you try and no matter how much you plan, you can’t beat the suspense of life. It will always surprise you. Infact, it is good this way. If you know for sure what’s going to happen the next moment, you will lose the excitement. Planning is good. Preparation is important. But it’s the unknown which keeps us going. It keeps us agile. It keeps the thrill. It makes us pray. It makes the day interesting and it makes us wait for tomorrows.

  • You might consider them lucky

    December 13th, 2017

You might consider them lucky. You may believe their success to be a series of co-incidences. Well, may be. May be not. Mostly, it is result of years of sweat. If you walk the trail you may find failures all along the way. Its just that you were not looking at them when they were struggling. Years later, their headlines attracted your attention and you label them as blessed. Here is the thing. You may be looking at their shiny shoes today having no idea they wore them to hide their blisters they got from walking in the woods barefoot.

  • Made a promise

    December 12th, 2017

I have broken more promises than I have kept. I make one to myself every day and I break one every day. May be I want everything in a hurry. May be I am not sure what I want. May be I look around the world and pace myself accordingly. I know that’s not right. Still, I am not able to overcome my weakness. I commit but never execute. I have not given up though. I have made a promise again today. Hopefully, I will stick to it a little longer.

  • Be with the best minds

    December 11th, 2017

Be with the best minds. Listen to their advice. Ask questions but curb the urge to speak unnecessarily. Over time, you will gain immense wisdom. You will do well for yourself. That will not be the end. You then need to allow not to privileged souls to rub shoulders with you so that they can learn from your experience. You need not pay back to those who made you wise but you must pay it forward. That’s the chain and you are a part of it. Make sure it never breaks.

  • My dream

    December 10th, 2017

I am better than you. I am smarter than you. I am wealthier than you. I spent my life in pursuit of proving my superiority over others. As I tread along the last leg of my life, I feel rather than focusing on my own life I wasted it comparing with others and trying to beat their benchmark. It was life not worthy of living. Suddenly, I woke up from my dream. And to my relief it was not all over. I still got time. The dream was an eye opener, to get things straight. To live a life which is worthy in my own eyes. I am going to start all over again.

  • He made a vow to himself

    December 9th, 2017

Years passed before he realised his mistake. The past engulfed his present. His guilt dwarfed his achievements. He wanted to overcome this feeling. He wanted to make good his erroneous act. It was impossible. It couldn’t be reversed. So, he changed his course. He made a vow to himself. The vow of redemption. Whatever it takes and whatever it costs, he was willing to bear. He is treading the future with care, hoping to cover his past with his life in the future.

  • Judge yourself

    December 8th, 2017

Judge yourself. You have no business to judge others. There situation could be different from yours. It is so easy to pass a comment, make an opinion or place an unsolicited advice. We make so much effort to change the other person’s viewpoint. Any which ways, no one is listening. We do it for satisfying our own ego and prove our intellect. If the same effort is given on introspecting self and taking correcting measures where required, our own life will go for a sea change. Stop judging others. Introspect.

  • What’s your rule?

    December 7th, 2017

Live a free life. Yet, to do so you need to follow certain rules. To live a healthy life, you must follow a regime of regular exercises and cut junk food. That’s the rule. To achieve professional success, you must work with complete focus and learn to say no to distractions. That’s the rule. To be a family man you must reduce your screen time while at home. That’s the rule. There is no freedom without the rules. What’s your rule?
