I took up 4 challenges for the month of Oct’17.
Here is how I progressed.
Challenge # 1 : I will call a friend every day
Done. I called 7 friends in the last week. It was nice. Some of them were childhood friends but as it happened, we didn’t speak in the last few years. It was good to catch up.
Challenge # 2 : I will write a blog every day
Done. This was always going to be difficult. Writing a blog takes around 1-4 hours, sometimes even longer; from conceiving an idea, pondering over it and then putting it in words.
Challenge # 3 : I will watch a Ted Talk every day
Done. I watched 7 wonderful ted talks. Different speakers, subject and perspectives. Here is a list and link of the talks.

Challenge # 4 : I will google about a country every day
Done. I googled 7 different countries. I mostly chose countries I knew nothing or very little about. Here is the list of countries I read about.
Why I am doing it
There are a few reasons for this. First of all, it tests my mental toughness and discipline to do things I plan. Also, it helps in becoming more efficient in managing time. Moreover, it helps in accomplishing a lot of things which we put on the back of the burner.
Geared up for the 2nd week.
