  • Have faith

    January 5th, 2018

Be genuinely interested in the other person’s interest. Do the best you can to make other people’s life happier, successful and meaningful. Put your own interest after theirs. Fill the plate with humility, empathy, integrity, competence and good intent. Do this over and and over again. Overtime they will take care of your interest in full. Don’t ask for guarantees. Have faith. That’s the way it has always been. That’s the way it will always be.

  • Don’t try shortcut

    January 4th, 2018

Trying for shortcut is not worth it. Certain things are worth only if given their due. When you go for an evening walk you don’t take the shortcut because you enjoy the walk itself. When you spend time with family you are not in a hurry but like to be with them for long. When you sleep you don’t cut it but feel refreshed only when you sleep well enough. Similarly, a worthwhile life is one that is not in the fast lane all the time. Sometimes, the long route is the short cut to happiness and a life lived well.

  • I met someone today

    January 3rd, 2018

I met someone the other day who said I am talented. I noticed he was better than me but did not play to his strength. I met someone yesterday. He said I am too good. I noticed he was better than me but did not believe in himself. I met someone today. He said I am brilliant. I noticed he was better than me but never used his capabilities. I find everyone whom I meet to have so much potential, only if they believed in themselves.

  • Perception never equals reality

    January 2nd, 2018

Perception never equals reality. Things are never as good or bad as we perceive. They are always better or worse in reality. When an event happens our instant response is hardly accurate. So, cool it down. Mountains are not going to fall immediately, nor you are going to win the jackpot next moment. Let the euphoria settle down. Take an informed decision. Examine the whole scenario. Explore the options. If perception is same as reality, why would we call it perception in the first place.

  • What’s your story?

    January 1st, 2018

People talk but I like stories; the real ones. I like those who fought hardship and came out a winner. I like those who proved their mettle and yet are a symbol of humility. I like those who saved someone’s life while their own was on the edge. I like those who stood up for justice of those who were unable to fight for themselves. I like those who became richer by giving everything they possessed to help others. I like those who raised the bar by questioning the status quo. What’s your story?

  • Take a turn

    December 31st, 2017

We can see things with much more clarity only if we can remove the curtains of our own bias. Our imagination is restricted by our own short sightedness and looking at things from somebody else’s lens. Generation by generations, our ability to think and see things with a free mind is impaired. It doesn’t matter anything to us what we believe in unless the society around does. Slowly and slowly so much damage has been done that it has now become a norm to look for others approval for us to conclude our own findings. God knows when things will take a turn

  • Forget the past

    December 30th, 2017

Forget the past. Forgive yourself of the mistakes. Come over self guilt. Start afresh. You deserve a second chance. Take it as an opportunity to do good. Take an oath to change your own life and the world. Cut your ties with those who are unwilling to let you move ahead. This life is a gift given by God. You have a responsibility to make good use of it. Stand up. Open the door. Go out and use the opportunity.

  • I want too much

    December 29th, 2017

I frequently change my views. It is difficult to follow a path. I want to be positive but it is difficult to pursue it beyond a week. One moment I decide to work hard to secure my future, the next moment life seems to be so fragile that thinking about tomorrow feels like being overly optimistic. Sometimes I consider to dedicate my life to society, the next moment I go into oblivion. May be I am not sure what I want. May be I want too much. Even this is difficult to know for sure.

  • Look a little deep

    December 28th, 2017

People who laugh a lot may have the deepest pains. People would rule the world may be the most insecure. People who wear expensive clothes may have a naked wound. People who have a million friends may be the loneliest soul. Never judge anyone by what you see on the outside. You never know what’s hidden inside. Some are studded with diamonds while others may be burning with coal. Show a little humility. Look a little deep. That’s the story of everyone you meet, including you.

  • Powerful

    December 27th, 2017

Hope is more powerful than history.
Love is more powerful than betrayal. Sharing is more powerful than lockers. Humility is more powerful than authority. Present is more powerful than future.
We is more powerful than I.
Health is more powerful than wealth.
Faith is more powerful than promise.
