He wasn’t like this all along. He learned it along the way. He applies faith and transparency in his living and dealings. It costs him dearly at times because the world is not accustomed to his ways. His openness and integrity is taken advantage by some. He is alright with this and not going to mend his ways. His faith of receiving good by doing good doesn’t hold true all the time. Still, he refuses to change his ways. He is not a loner in all this. There are a few more in the world like him but they are still a minority. Still, it is because of them the world is moving ahead.
Worried about your challenges? Look around and you will feel blessed. Think your pain is unbearable? Look around and you will feel blessed. Feel that life is unfair to you? Look around and you will feel blessed. For that matter, whatever is your situation, if you look around you will feel blessed. Rather than being too much focused on your own issues, try helping others and you will find yourself at ease. Give a patient hearing to someone’s untold story and you can squeeze the pain out of their life. Yes, you are blessed. It’s time make others life a blessing.
He won’t question. Nor is he keen to answer in his own defense. He refused to give himself the benefit of doubt. He has chosen his own punishment. It will run throughout his life and he won’t appeal to cut short his agony and pain. He knows – it is impossible to overcome his guilt. He treats his sufferings as his reward. The only way to redeem his life is to surrender to the verdict of his own soul. And he is doing so with respect and his own will.
When we truly love someone we don’t need to prove it. When we don’t, we do. When we are trustworthy, we never ask the other person to trust us. When we are short of it, we do. When we are happy we don’t don’t need words to express it. When we are not, we do. When we really want to give we don’t harp on it. When we don’t, we do. When we have faith we never fail. When we doubt, we do.
Compounding is an amazing thing. It works silently but becomes a force with time. Not only with money, compounding works with everything; from small habits to everyday routine. The good things compounds. The bad things too. Never underestimate the long term impact of every small activity you do. From love to responsibility and from health to humility; compounding works. The future is nothing but a sum total of the past which compounds. Keep an eye on what you are doing. It will pay you big time or you will pay big time.
Life is short but it gives enough time. There is no need to haste things up all the time. It’s alright to spend a few evenings lazily. It’s alright to bunk a few classes. It’s alright to try your hands on a few different things. It’s alright to watch your favorite movie in between a big project. It’s alright to take your dog for a ride and miss your morning local. Using moment is infact is a waste of time. Mix it up. Go fast. Go slow.
There is a competition going on as to who is doing more, as to who is achieving more and as to who is living a better life. Self promotion has taken a massive leap in recent times like never before. We need to underplay our achievements. We rarely do this. Instead, we over emphasize our activities. We are choosing things to do on the basis of recognition it will give us rather than the usefulness and our own liking for it. All of it is giving a false impression of our true self to the outer world. It’s time to take a step back. It’s time to do more and talk less.
I thought I am a free man. Not until I realised I got trapped myself in an image chain. Knowing unknowingly I created a particular image about myself. Now, that image is what the world connects with. I fear if I kill that image I will kill myself. And so I live, struggling. Slowly and slowly that perceived image becomes stronger than my real identity. So much so that at times even I am confused who I am. Sometimes I feel I am a slave but since this seems cruel, I convince myself that I am still a free man.
Never give up. You can come back from any situation. People have done it. You too can. Every time it will seem like a daunting task to beat the challenge but each time you will come out winner in the end. One thing you need to know is that tough situation come to only those who are tougher. So, believe in yourself. Each time you overcome challenges you also inspire others. The level of difficulty will keep on increasing and so will your strength. Stay in the game.
He did not speak much. Not because he didn’t know but because they won’t understand. Yet, people flocked to him for wisdom. When they wanted his advice he answered in questions and they went satisfied. When he walked into the streets he was unaware of the happenings. His needs were few and his wants none. Few knew his past. He was a star of his time. The world was his playground but he went into solitude. Nobody knew why and when someone asked; he never replied.
