I want to change the world. If this is arrogance, I don’t care

Hundreds of year ago, thousands of year ago, the world was not the same as it is today. It has dramatically changed for good. Over the years it has evolved and made life better. I wonder how this happened. Did it happen on its own or there were people who contributed to this change? I firmly believe there were a set of people who took it among themselves to change the world and they did well.

I am truly inspired by them. There is a deep down feeling in me that I also must work towards making this world a better place before I leave so that the next generation can live a better life. I want to change the world.

When I express myself and make my intentions clear to people around me, I am not taken seriously and people often call me highly optimist and some even call me arrogant. For a moment I am let down. My enthusiasm weakens. But somehow I remain firm in my commitment to myself. After all, the world can be changed not by those who doubt but by those who believe they can. I believe I can.

Whether I can change the entire world or the life of a single human being, I would have made a difference and I would feel happy and content at the end of it. I am on my way. For this, if others call it to be my arrogance, I don’t care.
