  • Superhuman by Habits

    By: Tynan

    Pages: 122

    Health

    My recommendation: 8 / 10

    Date read: 12th Nov'17

Brief review: Willpower doesn't last long; habits do. The key to a good life and success is then dependent upon the type of habits we have. Tynan transformed his life by cultivating rich habits and in this book he gives a step by step guide to forming good habits. I am strong believer in the power of habit and routine. I had a lot of takeaways from this book and I am sure you too will. If you are looking to make changes in your life by forming good habits, this book is for you.

  • The Go-Giver

By: Bob Burg & John David Mann

    Pages: 148

    Business, Sales, Self Help

    My recommendation: 10 / 10

    Date read: 9th Nov'17

Brief review: What a book! I bet if you start reading it, you will finish it at one go. A perfect recipe for success. Few books have ever been written in a gripping story format giving the essence of life and business. It's about a struggling salesman Joe who finds a super successful mentor, Mr. Pindar teaching him the five laws of stratospheric success. The key message in the book is - 'when you give, you get' and 'your income is determined by how many people you serve and how well you serve them'. A must read of everyone.

  • The Compound Effect

    By: Darren Hardy

    Pages: 200

    Motivation, Self Help

    My recommendation: 9 / 10

    Date read: 10th Aug'17

Brief review: Everything we do; compounds over time. Darren Hardy himself is quite successful (owner of Success Magazine). He became a multimillionaire in his twenties. He makes his point by brilliant examples. How 125 calories every day can make you lose or gain 33 pounds over 31 months. How the routine of Michael Phelps made him a world champion. I liked this book because I am myself a big believer in the power of compounding. It's a no nonsense book. Concise and to the point. A must read.

  • The Prophet

    By: Khalil Gibran

    Pages: 128

    Philosophy, Self Help

    My recommendation: 10 / 10

    Date read: 29th Jul'17

Brief review: Originally published in 1923, it is known as the Gibran's best work. It offers timeless wisdom on matters like love, pain, laws, freedom, time, friendship, beauty, religion and many more. It is short yet powerful. I have read this a few times and I would very strongly recommend this book to everyone having interest in philosophy.

  • The Bestseller she wrote

    By: Ravi Subramanian

    Pages: 344

    Fiction

    My recommendation: 9 / 10

    Date read: 23rd Apr'17

Brief review: Ravi Subramanian is a great story teller. It’s a fiction, though seems like real life incident. It's about a best selling author and an aggressive and ambitious girl who want to become successful. A good way to refresh yourself by diving into this read in free time. If you like fiction (a bit of thriller and suspense too), you will enjoy this book.
